And so another great weekend has come and gone! We won the shut out game vs. Boston College 19-0! Had fun hanging out with Tom and plenty of parites attended too! Sadly another person died on Saturday after falling off a balcony at a party :( keep the family in your prayers! Wish we could have a weekend where nothing happened like last weekend someone jumped infront of a bike racing another bike and was killed, this is college your supposed to live up your life not be stupid and end it :/ but I had two great days at work and a great day at church with Ashley’s family haha she went to the JMU game with my cousin beacuse my cousin goes to Liberty which they lost but it was such a close games that just makes it sad on Tech’s part.

So Tech has been pretty lively lately thank goodness we won the ECU game!!!! AHHHH :D But I ended up bombing my chemistry exam with a 48 so thats no bueno then I ended up getting an F on my first chemistry lab report too :( is it too late to drop chemistry all together and take something that doesn’t need the classes? :( On a good note I had fun yesterday going to church with my friend Ashley!! well my new friend :) i met her when my cousin brought her to our family reunion last sunday and I’ve been talking to her since so who knows maybe it’ll go somewhere wish me luck!

Ok so what is the deal with tech losing all of their football games?! First we lost to Boise State with one minute left with some crappy coverage then we lose to JMU who isn’t even a DI team! Next thing you know we’re going to lose to ECU as well! these are supposed to be warm up games that we are supposed to win Tech come on play better than this! I hope Coach Beamer and Foster run your butts off till ya’ll decide that we need to win the rest! I mean seriously! Not to mention I went and bought tickets for me and my friend Ashley from Blacksburg and I wanna take her to a good game Tech so we better beat Georgia Tech on November fourth, I mean come on we lost to them once in like the last 3 years! Plus its going to be her first Virginia Tech game, it’ll be my third, the first being vs Penn State like 5 years ago and the second being vs JMU both of which were raining and cold and not to mention we lost both games! Hopefully its a nice game and the weather is nice but cold so we can share our blanket and she’ll have plenty of fun and get to have some Virginia Tech hot chocolate! :)))

So probably nobody knows this but I used to play football in highschool, yea it was pretty fun I miss it a lot actually and the broships we had on the team haha. But it all started with my school not having a soccer team, I LOVED soccer! When I moved to Texas I was upset my school didn’t have a team so I went for kicker for the football team and ofcourse I was excellent since I was a soccer style kicker :) sophomore year came around and I was able to find a soccer team, select it was Lonestars and my team sucked the fall season but spring season we did better then I stopped playing since Junior year I was going to have plenty of HW and it was hard enoughas it was since my practices were at like 7pm to 9pm everynight, so senior year comes around still playin soccer and I’m starting kicker for the varsity after having to hold my junior year since my friend Adin the kicker before me was able to play as a super senior since he was homeschooled his freshman year, well I got entangled with my girlfriend and was nervous about getting into college so I told him I needed to focus on college more than football and my coach said I could leave once I finished kicking with the team so I did, after 30 mins of practice everyday I was allowed to leave well we just beat pretty much everyone we get up to the 9th game and if we win we’re pretty much gauranteed district champs since the next team our 10 and final for the season would be a breeze cause they were doing horrible, the coach takes me off the team saying I don’t have heart right before our last game. They make it into the play offs and lose by 7 points, with several missed field goals, by whom?? oh it was the sophmore they brought up to replace me he missed 3 30 yard field goals!!!! ha we could possibly have been state champs if coach hadn’t kicked me off the team.

Ok so the reason I chose Virignia Tech outta all my other schools is simple, I was born and raised a Tech fan! Hell Yea! But it came with a price of getting in since my tuition is paid for by the Veterans Association because I lost my father when I was in the 3rd and the State of Viriginia pays for my tuition if I go instate, however I graduated from Texas, but I was born and raised here in good old Virginia! I honestly don’t really have anywhere to go to on breaks so I happly go to my grandparents house since its only like 8 minutes drive from my dorm and by gosh does that come in handy sometimes! Especially having a truck and knowing a family that literally lives right next to my dorm so they let me park my truck in their back yard! :D thats right my family has had a long history here in Blacksburg, Virginia or as they like to say “the burg.” HAHAHA. But i can’t even come to express myself how much I absolutely love this place! Ever since I used to come here for Christmas and Spring Break every year I used to consider Blacksburg my second home, Texas I guess is my third, still kinda iffy about Texas but I’m sure proud to say I have lived there “cause the chicks dig it.” ;) But hopefully I have an absolutely wonderful first year, while keeping my grades up and getting to hang with my brohons and partying and find that special girl to spend the rest of my life with!
